Watercolor Painting “Bouquet of Tulips” Tuesday, May 17th 12 to 3
Come join Roy and Peg Hruska, who are both Madden Certified Teachers. This is a monthly activity and each class will focus on a different technique and subject. Classes are geared to those who have never tried watercolor before or who like the “loose” paintings of T.V. teacher, Terry Madden. Create something beautiful in a relaxed, positive and fun atmosphere. You will amaze yourself! You can do it! Cost is $15 per session and everything you need is provided for your finished painting. Card Making Class Tuesday, May 17th 10-12 Our facilitator for this fun class will be Peg Hruska. Each participant will make 3 to 4 cards per class. Cost is $12 per session Class size is limited so please call for reservations: 469-4556.
Monthly Commodities Wed., May 11th 12:30 to 3:00 Please enter from 3 Oaks Rd. on Old M 11 Monthly Commodities will be given out on the second Wednesday of each month to seniors who qualify from 12:30 to 3:00. If you are a household of 1 and have income of $1,473 or less, or if you are a household of 2 and have income $1,984 or less or know someone who does, please meet with America Schmaltz at the Center to fill out the paperwork. Quarterly Commodities will be given out on the third Wednesday of each quarter to people of all ages who qualify from 12:30 to 3:00. To qualify for quarterly commodities the household income maximum is different than the monthly requirements. Household of 1 is $2,147, household of 2 $2,903 and household of 3 is $3,660. If you think you qualify or know someone who does, please meet with America Schmaltz on the pick up day at the Center to sign the self certification form.
