Donation Opportunities

In every form, your contribution shapes a future of connection, growth, and impact.

Choose the avenue that works best for you and be a part of the positive change we strive for.

Program/General Fund Donations

Your donations to the program fund make extraordinary moments possible, even when costs or fees are involved. For unexpected turns that may surpass planned budgets, the general fund becomes a safety net, ensuring our mission thrives in any circumstance.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind donations encompass assets beyond financial contributions. From furniture and office essentials to supplies and equipment for our Loan Closet, these gifts enrich our organization’s functionality and contribute to our ability to serve the senior community.

Honoring Legacies

A tribute to a cherished life. “In memory of” or memorial gifts serve as heartfelt donations that honor the lives of those who have passed on. These gifts stand as a testament to their impact, preserving their legacy while contributing to meaningful causes.

Bequests

Bequests are gifts made as part of a will or trust and are one of the most popular and flexible ways to support the River Valley Senior Center. A bequest can be to a person or a trust, or it can be a charitable bequest to a nonprofit organization such as River Valley Senior Center.

Building Fund Donations

Invest in the foundation of our future. The building fund is fueled by property taxes, dedicated to the creation, renovation, maintenance and enhancement of our physical space. This fund also enables us to procure essential furniture, equipment and software, enriching the center’s functionality and ambiance.

River Valley Senior Center is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to organizations with 501(c)(3) status may be tax deductible.

Please consult your tax advisor to determine deductibility of your contribution.
