For individuals aged 60 and above, the Senior Center offers a spectrum of services designed to meet your needs. Our transportation services encompass essential medical appointments, limited shopping trips, and other necessary trips. Our service area encompasses Bridgman, New Buffalo, Lakeside, Union Pier, Sawyer, Harbert, Three Oaks, New Troy, Grand Beach, and Galien.

Whether you’re bound for a doctor’s appointment in Berrien County, LaPorte, Michigan City, or segments of South Bend, our drivers will ensure you arrive punctually. Between 8:30 am and 1 pm (Eastern Standard Time), we’re committed to being your reliable transport partner.
Plan Ahead, Travel with Ease
To ensure seamless transportation arrangements, kindly provide 5-7 business days advance notice for reservations. In case of emergencies, our team will handle requests on an individual basis, prioritizing everyone’s needs. Please also ensure your appointment time is Monday-Friday between 8:30 AM-1:00 PM.
Support through Contribution
We value your support in maintaining our van transportation service. While our services are freely extended, we gratefully accept donations to offset the growing expenses associated with transportation. Your generosity fuels our ability to keep you moving.

What We Require:
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is a must.
- Compassionate Nature, a friendly and caring attitude is essential. Patience and understanding are key qualities when interacting with seniors.
- Reliability is important to us; our clients depend on us. We kindly ask for your commitment to the agreed-upon schedule to ensure smooth operations.
How to Get Involved:
- Express Your Interest and simply call us at 269-469-4556 to let us know you’re interested.
- You will attend a brief orientation session to get familiar with our procedures, safety measures, and the riders you’ll be assisting. We ask that you participate in two ride alongs with an experienced driver to get familiar with our processes.
- Choose Your Schedule by selecting the days that work best for you. We appreciate any amount of time you can contribute.
